1. Who Can Apply
Wholesale pricing and bulk purchasing arrangements are available to:
- Licensed retail businesses and hobby shops
- Verified online resellers with an established storefront
- Event organizers or vendors operating in the collectibles space
- Businesses purchasing for resale purposes with valid documentation
Wholesale access is not available to individual consumers purchasing for personal use, regardless of order size.
2. Requirements to Qualify
To be considered for a wholesale arrangement with Nova Hobby, applicants must provide the following:
- Valid business name and proof of business registration or formation (e.g., LLC, sole proprietorship, corporation)
- Resale certificate or sales tax exemption certificate applicable to your state
- Website, storefront URL, or marketplace profile demonstrating an active retail presence
- Contact information including a business email and phone number
- A brief description of your business and the types of products you intend to purchase
Nova Hobby reserves the right to approve or decline any wholesale application at our sole discretion.
3. Minimum Order Requirements
Wholesale orders are subject to minimum purchase thresholds, which will be communicated during the approval process. Minimums may vary depending on product category, availability, and the nature of your business.
General guidelines:
- Minimum order quantities and values will be outlined in your individual wholesale agreement.
- Orders below the agreed minimum will be processed at standard retail pricing.
- Wholesale pricing applies only to approved accounts and verified orders.
4. Pricing and Discounts
- Wholesale pricing is offered on a case-by-case basis and is not publicly listed.
- Approved wholesale partners will receive a customized pricing structure based on order volume, product type, and frequency of purchase.
- Wholesale prices are subject to change without notice based on distributor pricing, product availability, and market conditions.
- Wholesale discounts cannot be combined with promotional codes, sale pricing, or any other offers unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
5. Payment Terms
- All wholesale orders require payment in full at the time of purchase unless a credit arrangement has been explicitly agreed upon in writing with Nova Hobby.
- We accept the same payment methods as our retail store: Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link by Stripe, processed securely through Stripe.
- Invoices for approved credit accounts, if applicable, are due within the terms specified in your individual wholesale agreement.
- Returned checks or failed payments may result in suspension of your wholesale account.
6. Shipping for Wholesale Orders
- Wholesale orders are processed within 1–3 business days and ship within 3–7 business days of processing, subject to order size and product availability.
- Shipping costs for wholesale orders will be calculated based on order weight, dimensions, and destination, and will be communicated prior to order confirmation.
- Free shipping promotions applicable to retail orders do not automatically apply to wholesale orders unless specified in your wholesale agreement.
- All wholesale shipments include tracking information sent to the business email on file.
7. Returns and Refunds for Wholesale Orders
- Wholesale orders are subject to the same return eligibility requirements as retail orders: unopened, factory-sealed items only, within 30 days of delivery.
- Approved refunds on wholesale orders will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned items.
- Shipping costs associated with wholesale returns are the responsibility of the wholesale partner unless the return is due to an error on our part.
- Custom or specially negotiated wholesale orders may be subject to a no-return policy, which will be clearly communicated prior to purchase.
8. Resale and Branding Guidelines
- Products purchased through our wholesale program must be resold in their original, factory-sealed condition. Tampering, repackaging, or misrepresenting products is strictly prohibited.
- Wholesale partners may not represent themselves as official representatives, affiliates, or partners of Nova Hobby without explicit written authorization.
- Nova Hobby reserves the right to revoke wholesale access if a partner is found to be misrepresenting products, engaging in deceptive business practices, or violating any terms of this policy.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
Nova Hobby reserves the right to suspend or terminate any wholesale account at any time for the following reasons:
- Failure to meet payment obligations
- Violation of resale or branding guidelines
- Misrepresentation of business credentials during the application process
- Any conduct deemed harmful to the Nova Hobby brand or the collector community
Upon termination, any outstanding orders will be fulfilled or refunded at Nova Hobby's discretion.
